As crazy as it sounds, I was soooo excited and ready to start back yesterday. The two week vacation was nice but I was ready to slow down and get back on a schedule. I woke up at 4:45 and couldn't go back to sleep so I hopped up, got dressed and went to the Y to work out. I planned on going, just not quite that early. Oh well, it all worked out and I even got to work 30 minutes early. I made sure we wrote that one down in the records book. We must've all been excited to see one another b/c the girls were waiting for me at the door. Oh wait, that was Natalie they were waiting for; I just happened to walk in right after her. She got engaged over the break so we were screaming and laughing like a bunch of teenage girls...what a great way to start my week! Congratulations Nat, I'm so happy for you and can't wait to walk along beside you as you plan your wedding.
Keller was excited to get back to "his Honey's" house so he could play with all of his sweet little friends, especially his girlfriend, Britton. He even gave her a kiss when we left yesterday afternoon...melted my heart!
Kase doesn't go back to school until Thursday so he's staying w/his Maw-Maw until tomorrow afternoon. He informed us last week that he wasn't a baby so he didn't need to go to the babysitters house. Pretty bold words for a soon to be 6 year old. The original plan was for him to come home today but he told us yesterday that he was going to stay one more night. He then told Maw-Maw that they needed to go to Walmart and get him some new clothes and pajamas b/c I only packed enough for one night. Once again, 5 years old and already running the show. I'm sure she could've washed them but what do you think she did? Took him to Walmart and got him several outfits, several sets of pjs, several movies, several of anything he wanted b/c that's what grandparents do...over and over and over again! Aren't they the greatest? I sure miss mine.
