Easter Sunday

This year's Easter Sunday was a little bit different than years past. The normal routine for every holiday is lunch w/the Lindeman's and dinner w/the Hill's. Tony's mom, the hostess of all festivities on the Lindeman side, wasn't feeling well so we gave her the day off and rescheduled the family lunch for another weekend. I will tell you, that was tough to get over since I've been craving her sweet potatoes for over a month. Although we were sad about not getting to see that side of the family, it allowed us to spend the entire day together...just us, the 4 of us, me and my boys. It was WONDERFUL. We woke up at our usual bright and early time of 6:30 {thank you Keller}, watched the boys sort through their basket of goodies,

enjoyed breakfast together and took our sweet and lovely time getting ready for church. We were actually early to church and it even started 30 minutes earlier than normal. As for the service, it was incredible, moving, refreshing, powerful, and the list goes on and on. Guess I should add emotional since the knot in my throat pretty much hung around the entire hour, tears fell every few minutes and sweet Kase rubbed my leg b/c he thought something was wrong. After church, we filled up our bellies w/a very non-traditional meal at Chili's and then it was naptime. Yes, I took a nap...a very long 3 hour nap and it felt so good! I woke up to Keller at my bedside w/Easter basket in hand saying, "Wake up mommy, time to go to Grammer's." He was ready to hunt eggs, until he saw the new golf club set lying on the table. Forget the eggs guys, I'm ready to tee off.
Presley and Kase took care of the eggs while Keller worked on his swing and took a few balls at batting practice.
Thank you Papa and Grammer for providing him w/one more thing he can use to knock out windows. Only this time it will be your window b/c those clubs are staying right where he found them, your house!
