In Keller's defense {and daddy's since he's the one that allowed him to play with it after I put it up 4 different times}, it really was an accident. Kase was inside making faces so Keller decided he would tap the window from the outside to make him stop. Apparently, the tap was a little too hard for the ol' window. Thank goodness it was a double pane window so only the outer glass part broke. No aluminum foil or cardboard was needed this time. You notice I say this time b/c I'm almost certain this won't be the last time we replace a window. I have a bat swinging {slinging}, ball throwing, wild 3 year old and a husband who encourages him to "hit the ball hard". As for now, the new $247 piece of glass should be arriving any day. I guess it's a good thing Tony skipped Nascar and I sat out this month at Canton.
As if the window accident wasn't enough, Keller had another accident while playing at Maw-maw's house. He was standing on a chair trying to boost himself over the fence and the leg of the chair scooted off the edge {like she warned him it would} and he landed face first on the concrete. When I arrived to pick him up, he had a cut on his tongue, his busted lip was the size of a grape, and his nose and face look like this.
Thankfully, no knots on his head and all of his teeth were still intact. Poor baby had a rough weekend but I bet he'll be right back down there again using that same chair to climb over her fence. What can I say? He's a determined little boy and we love him for that...and so much more!
