Research Project #1

The "Cheetah Boy" project is complete and we couldn't be more proud of the finished product.

Each student was assigned a zoo animal and had to do a research project to share w/the class. Our soon to be kindergarten graduate researched his animal {cheetah} on the computer, created a power point, wrote out his own facts, and made the display board all by himself. I'm still in shock that 6 year olds are doing research projects and even more surprised that they know how to create power points. Really? Did we even know what a computer was when we were that age? If we did, I know for a fact we didn't have one in our classroom. let alone an entire lab full. My how times are changing. I hope we {the parents} can keep up w/our computer savvy kids!
