Scare on the Square

After Presley's party, we came home for what we thought would be a quick nap; however, it turned into a 3 hour nap for all of us. We woke and quickly got the kids in costume and made a mad dash to downtown for Scare on the Square.

Grammar is on the planning committee and worked hard to get it ready so we knew she'd be disappointed if Mr. Pirate and Captain America didn't make it by to trick or treat. Luckily, we got there just about the time the traffic was dying down so it worked out perfectly for the boys. They trick-or-treated at a few of their favorite shops

{Of course, Grammar's being their most favorite since she gave them two handfuls of candy.}

and played with some friends.

By 6:00, their bags were getting full and they were ready for the trick or treat hayride!
