basketball is over

Keller's last game was a couple of weeks ago and Kase's ended this past weekend (actually several weekends ago; I'm way behind in posting this) so basketball practice and games are a thing of the past. Time to move on to the next sport. T-ball for Keller and Kase is still deciding b/w sports, music lessons or art lessons. I'm 99.9% sure it will be one of the last two choices and we couldn't be happier about him trying something new. Kase doesn't have an aggressive bone in his body so sports may or may not be his "thing" as he gets older. He loves to listen to music and draw so we're going to expand the creative arts side of the brain.

The season was a success and for having never played basketball, Kase certainly came a long way in a very short amount of time. He's still not too interested in guarding anyone and definitely won't take the ball away but he can dribble and shoot w/the rest of them.

The most important thing is he enjoyed playing and told us that basketball is his favorite sport so far.

We've tried soccer and t-ball so the only thing left is football and we're not even going there...per my wishes!
