date night at the Mavs game

A couple of weeks ago, Tony and I were able to get away for a much needed date night. Between my work schedule and the boys social calendars, we haven't had a kid free night in quite some time. I had forgotten how important those are until we were out and about. The boys are such a blessing and we love spending time w/them but it was nice to have a quiet dinner, uninterupted conversation, and just some special time together. After a yummy dinner, we headed over to the AAC to watch the Mavs play.

Our seats were on the floor and right under the basket so it was a very exciting 2 hours. I could definitely go for season tickets if we had seats like that every game.

Wow...I felt like we were part of the action and we actually were a couple of times. Rowdy {the mav mascot} came over and sat down beside me and then the Mavs man came over, put his arm around me and harassed Tony for a minute. I kept waiting for Jason Kidd to come over and give me a hug but he never made it off the court.

Darn...maybe next time! Needless to say, we had a great time and can't wait to do it again. Hopefully, we won't have to wait another 4 months.
