Breakfast with Bunny {and friends}

Bright and early Saturday morning, the boys and I drove over to the Galleria to meet our friends for the annual Breakfast w/Bunny.

Due to the size of our party, we were fortunate enough again to have the Garden Room all to ourselves. It was the perfect spot for 16 adults and 19 very active boys and girls.

Some colored,

while others ran around, punched balloons, wrestled and acted like clowns. Mine being the most silly acting of all; you see big brother is not amused.

Oh, the joy of having boys!

The Easter Bunny hopped in while we were waiting for our breakfast to be served and as you can tell,

the kids were very excited to see him/her. After breakfast, the kids hunted for eggs and took a few rides up and down the escalators at Nordstroms.

Thanks Aunt Bubba for encouraging that activity. As many of you know, I'm not one to pass up a trip to the mall so rather than leave after breakfast, we decided to spend our morning at the mall. Morgan and I took the kids to play on the play area, watched the ice skaters, ate a little lunch and did some shopping at XXI. Judging by this picture,

it's obvious who ended up getting new clothes. XXI now has kid clothing and it is soooooo stinkin' cute. Kase informed me a few weeks ago that he didn't "really like Childrens Place" anymore so I was extremely thrilled to find a new spot that's cool enough for a 7 year old little boy and budget friendly enough for his mom. Now if they can just come up w/a bag that has the childrens logo on it instead of XXI, I'll feel much better about letting him carry his own bag!
