A couple of weeks ago, the boys and I had the honor of spending our mornings participating in VBS.
Attending VBS is always on Kase's summer to-do list and is something we all look forward to each year. Keller isn't quite old enough to attend but b/c I volunteer, he is able to join in on the fun each year.
This years theme was High Seas Expedition and each day the kids learned about how God's word is TrUe, comforting, SURPRISING, life changing and for EVERYONE. Keller spent his mornings at Skipper's Preschool Deck with all of his special friends.
One of Kase's friends came w/us each day; they were both in the yellow group and ended up with the most wonderful group leader.
She was precious and took such great care of Kase throughout the week putting his lost tooth in a little baggie for him to bring home, cleaned up his bloody nose and helped him around after he hurt his foot. What a sweet blessing she was to both Kase and I.
Spending that time w/the boys and witnessing the excitement of 2100+ children {and countless high school student leaders} as they're learning about God's word is always a highlight of my summer. Thank you Lord for providing us w/such an amazing church that truly goes all out to make VBS an unforgettable experience for everyone!
