When I grow up...

I want to be a fireman.

Keller turned 5 on December 30th but we decided to hold off on the birthday party until after the holidays and I'm so glad we did. It gave me a little extra time to put away Christmas and get our house put back together before we had company. Selecting a theme this year was simple b/c our little fireman knew exactly what he wanted...a "fire truck party with fire truck cupcakes and a fire truck cake for me {Keller}"!

I took care of the cupcakes and decorations and our wonderful friend Lewis took care of the rest, making sure Keller's wish for a fire truck came true. He was on duty the day of the party so he drove the engine over to our house and let each of the kids take a peak inside.

He also brought them a hat and an honorary firefighter badge sticker.

It was such a fun experience for all of the kids and an unforgettable birthday party for Keller. Thank you Lewis for being a hero to so many little ones.

Keller has talked about his fire truck birthday party every.single.day for the past two weeks. He even redecorated his room w/his firetruck party decorations and assures us he's now going to be a fireman when he "gets big enough to drive a truck." The imagination of a child is so precious.

Happy Birthday Keller~we love you to pieces and look forward to watching your dreams unfold!
