Classroom Christmas Parties

The boys Holiday Christmas parties were this past Tuesday and I decided to take a day off from work so I could spend the entire day with my sweet boys. I usually just go for the parties but this year I wanted to be there for all of it.

They're growing up so fast and before I know it, there will be no more classroom parties and no invitation for mom to hang out at school so I decided I better take advantage of it while I can. Kinda makes me sad!

The morning started off with the Kindergarten waffle breakfast. Keller's little eyes lit up when he walked in and saw me waiting on him...melt my heart!

He quickly gobbled down his food so he could introduce me to all of his sweet friends, even though I've met them about 6 times before.

I'm almost certain he knew the name of every kindergartner in the cafeteria and even knew some of their parents. The child never meets a stranger! We had story time, decorated sugar cookies, and watched a litte bit of a movie and then it was time for big brother's party. Keller wanted to go with me so I signed him out early and we went to spend the last part of the day with the 3rd graders.

The room mom did a wonderful job organizing the party and had so much planned for the kids that we almost ran out of time. They had a snowball fight,

made an ornament,

played a fun drawing game,

decorated a cupcake

and then nibbled on loads of sugar. Three o'clock rolled around and out the door we went. It's Christmas Break my friends and that means I get to spend the next two weeks with these cuties...
