Everyday I'm shufflin'

The moment we've all been waiting for finally arrived last Friday...it was showtime for our little hip hop star and we couldn't wait to cheer him on.  It was Kase's turn to shine and who could miss him with the neon green hoodie and a huge smile like that?!?!  Can you tell he's having fun?

He's been working so hard in practice, at home and anywhere there's music playing for the past 9 months and was so excited to finally get the chance to perform on stage.  The show was at the Majestic Theater and it was beyond amazing.  His dance instructor who also owns the studio made sure it was a night the dancers and parents wouldn't forget.  It was dedicated to one of her former dancers who recently underwent a bone marrow transplant so there wasn't a dry eye in the place by the end of the night.  Each performance was wonderful but the boys stole the show.  Okay...so I might be a little biased but they were definitely my favorite!

You don't often expect to see a group of boys in a dance show so the crowd went crazy when the lights came on and the boys ran out on stage.

Parents, family members and the other dancers (all young girls) were screaming, calling out the boys names and chanting like we were at a concert.  It was priceless and don't you know those little guys felt like rockstars?  As his mom, it was a wonderful feeling to watch him dance his heart out in front of a big crowd without a trace of shyness.  Confident, proud, happy and having fun...he loved every minute of the show and can't wait for classes to start back in August!

Kase-we love you more than you'll ever know and are so proud of you for stepping outside of your comfort zone and trying something different.  Who knew you'd end up loving it?  Your mom...you can thank me later!

Of course, I had to throw in a picture of my beautiful niece who is quite the dancer herself.  She is going to be my little Stingerette one day...I just know it! Love you too sweet P!
