snow and "sparkles"

Around 11:00 this morning, some white, powdery stuff started falling from the sky and what do you know...it was snow!

I knew it wouldn't last long and that it might be our only "winter storm" for the year so we bundled up and spent part of our Sunday afternoon playing outside,

making snow angels

and having snowball fights.

We started our snowman but didn't get to finish b/c Keller had "frozen fingers" and "sparkles" on his arms.

When I think of sparkles, I think of things that shine such as sequins, glitter, crystals, anything w/a little bling. Well guess what my friends...goosebumps are also called sparkles. Betcha didn't know that? Thanks to my sparkling son, I learn something new everyday!
