Fun & Festive Week

This past week was a busy one for the boys. It was Drug Free week at school and each day was a different theme. Kindergarten also had "scarecrow day" so Keller had to dress up on Thursday. He was a little disappointed that he had to miss "favorite team" day in order to participate in scarecrow day. Poor little guy wanted to wear his Rangers jersey but had to wear this instead...

Can you tell he was thrilled? I did eventually get a smile out of him...after I told him he could take the belt off. He originally had straw on his arms and a rope belt but that didn't last 20 seconds. When it comes to clothing, Keller is all about comfort. Getting him to wear the jeans w/a button up shirt was a struggle.

Kase changed things up a little bit for this years "favorite team"day. For the past 4 years, he's always worn an A&M shirt but this year was different. Why? Because he saw this shirt at Old Navy and decided that since his old babysitter plays basketball for the Red Raiders, Tech would be his favorite team for the winter.

Once basketball season is over with, he said he would go back to cheering for the Aggies. Whatever works and as long as he doesn't ask me to buy him a burnt orange shirt, we're good!

Took him a couple tries but he finally got his "guns up". Go Lady Raiders and good luck this season #41!

The boys fun filled week ended Friday w/their annual parade and walk-a-thon. Each grade level created a banner and wouldn't you know Mr. Keller had to be one of the ones to hold it. He was so proud to be up front w/his friends.

There's my little man hiding in the corner flashing mommy a big smile!

Kase, with his blue hair, was content hiding out in the middle of the other 3rd graders.

All the walking wore them smooth out. They came home and crashed on the floor of the playroom. Goodness, it sure is hard work being a kid!
