Say Cheese

After getting the camera out last night so I would remember to bring it to work today, I looked around the corner and this is what I saw...

Keller proudly standing there w/a grin ear to ear saying "Cheeeeeese". Of course, I'm glad I captured the moment since he just so happened to have on a shirt that says "My Mom Rocks"! As soon as Kase saw the camera, he needed to have his picture taken. Have I trained them well or what? I asked him what he had in his hand and he replied, "It's my credit card, I made it". Oh no, what have I done to my child?

Lily Pearl came around the corner to see what we were doing and I decided I might as well take a picture of her in her new Queen of the Dog Park t-shirt. I think she could've used a medium!

I asked daddy if he wanted to take a picture since I was taking pictures of everyone in the house but he was too busy watching the Mavs game. I'll get him when he's not looking! About 10 minutes later, I came back in to the kitchen and this is where I found Kase.

Can I tell you I almost had a heart attack b/c we've NEVER shown Kase how to use the computer and he had logged on and opened a word document and was typing away. What, where and how did you learn how to do that? He told me to "pull up a chair so he could show me what he learned in computer lab". Mind you he's only been once so I didn't think I'd be in for any real surprises but oh my gosh, he knows as much as I do. He even had his fingers in the right position. Seriously...I didn't take a computer class until I was in high school and now my 5 year old is learning how to type a letter and log on to the internet so he can "search" for important facts. Guess what he wants for Christmas...his very own laptop! Grammar and Papa, I hope you're reading this!
