Happy Birthday Keller!

Today was bittersweet for our family. We spent the first part of the day at Billy's funeral. The service was beautiful, the weather was perfect and he is now resting peacefully in the loving arms of our Heavenly Father...what a great place to be! We switched gears this evening as we celebrated Keller's 3rd birthday. His party isn't for a couple more weeks but he knew today was "his" day and he wasn't going to let us forget. The first words out of his mouth this morning were, "Today is my birthday and I'm gonna get me a monster truck cake". Oh really...well I guess you know what I did. Got up, threw on some clothes, washed my face, brushed my teeth {at least I think I did} and ran to Walmart knowing I was going to have to be creative since that type of cake has to be ordered ahead of time. Fortunately, they had a plain white cake w/balloons and sprinkles. I added a $3.74 Hot Wheels monster truck and ta-da...we had a monster truck cake. Papa and Grammer, Aunt Bubba (Morgan), Uncle Larry and Presley came over for cake and ice cream. Keller unwrapped a few gifts and entertained us w/his guitar. He always knows what to do to make us laugh and he knew we really needed it today!

Happy Birthday Keller Bug, I can't believe you're already "free" years old. You are so special to all of us and we can't wait to see what God has in store for you this next year!
