We took the boys to see Santa this past weekend and I'm amazed that we got a picture w/Keller in it. He's been telling us that he didn't want to sit w/Santa so we weren't sure how it would turn out. Once we got a little closer in line, he waved at Santa but reminded us he wasn't going to sit w/him. When it was our turn, he decided to get a little bit closer but held on to my hand for dear life. Santa stuck out his hand for Keller to give him five and that's all it took. He let go of me and started telling Santa what he wanted for Christmas...helmet, hut-hut shirt and a football. Santa commented on the football so Keller asked Santa, "do you got one for me?" We all got a little laugh out of that...he never fails at putting a smile on our face. Thank goodness Kase had his wish list written out so we didn't hold up the line any longer b/c Keller could talk all day about "hut-hut". Needless to say they enjoyed visiting w/him and are waiting anxiously for Santa's arrival! When I went to put the new picture in our Santa frame, I came across the ones from years past...at least the ones that haven't been put in a scrapbook. See, I really did attempt to keep up w/it but baby #2 threw me off a bit. Looking back on all the pictures, I see that Santa has changed a bit each year but not near as much as my sweet little boys. Where does the time go?
Kase when he was still an only child...22 months old!
Keller's 1st Christmas...he was 11 months and Kase was 3.
Keller was present for this picture but he decided to stay in Daddy's arms.
Thank you precious little boys for the Santa memories and the smile you put on my face each and every day! I am blessed to be your mommy!
