8 Pizzas + 1 Wiggles Cake + 24 decorated cupcakes + 21 kids running around in pjs = Keller's 3rd Birthday party!
Whew...one down and one to go {Kase's is in February}. Keller, being our free spirited child, couldn't decide on just one theme so we ended up having a party with all of his favorite things...Backyardigans, Handy Manny, Wiggles, Wall-E, Superman, Cars and hut-huts (footballs). I let him choose what he wanted and it went a little something like this; Backyardigan dinner plates and napkins, Handy Manny cake plates, a chocolate wiggles cake and cupcakes w/toppers to match all of his favorite things. I want you to know this was a challenge for me as I'm very obsessive and think everything needs to match. Once the party started, I realized {what I already knew but couldn't convince the obsessive side of my brain} that all that silly stuff really doesn't matter. The party was a reflection of Keller and that's the way it's supposed to be. Thank you Keller Bug for allowing me to see that life is so much simpler when seen through the eyes of a 3 year old. I'm so thankful that God chose me to be your mommy and I cherish each moment we spend together. I love you forever and always!
I got a soccer ball so I'm done opening presents!
OK, I'll open some more...just make sure no one gets my soccer ball.

What do you think about this movie Xander?

We had a really good time and everything was perfect. :) It looks like he will be getting some pretty good use out of his soccer ball. Hopefully Kase will be able to teach him to play that new candyland game too. :)
Love this post and I identify with you!!! It is sooo much simpler when we don't strive for perfecton in our eyes but in theirs and what joy that brings! :) xoxo
