Cleaning out the camera...

I think the holidays and Keller's birthday party must've overloaded the camera b/c it's locked up and won't do anything. Tony told me that's a sign that I take way too many pictures. I told him it was a sign that it was time to upgrade to an SLR camera. I'll keep you posted on how that discussion ended but be on the look out for some new and improved photos in the coming posts...hint, hint! Before I send the good ol' digital in to the fix-it shop {thank goodness for extended warranty plans}, I decided to go ahead and upload photos and clean out the memory card. While doing that {and trying to figure out how many albums I need to get at Hobby Lobby}, I stumbled on a few {pictures} that deserve a post on the bloggie blog. Nothing fancy, just special to me in one way or another...here goes!

Keller's new love is Handy Manny and he got plenty of it for his birthday. He has to wear the tool belt everywhere he goes just in case he needs to stop and fix something on the way! The visor and gloves won't stay on so those stay at home.

Remember me telling you I had the best job in the world not only b/c I work w/some of my best friends but also b/c I teach some amazing kiddos. Like the one that brought these sweet flowers and left them sitting on my desk last Thursday morning...

just b/c I helped her study for her semester exam. Never mind the fact that as a teacher, it's my job to do that; she said that was the least she could do for me...are you serious? How thoughtful...I cried when I saw them b/c it was so unexpected and I didn't think I had done anything to deserve them. She is just one of the many precious students I deal w/on a regular basis...and they call what I do a J-O-B? Sounds good to me, I'll take it!
