It's been so long since I've posted that I actually feel like I have a case of writers block...is that really even what it's called? Sounds good so we'll go w/that. First of all, I apologize that I've not been a good blogger. This past week has been absolute chaos at work so by the time I got home and sat down, blogging was the last thing on my mind. Actually, it wasn't even on my mind at all. Our district is getting audited by TEA next week so we've been working hard to get our files, student records, and teachers records in tip top shape. I think we're almost there so hopefully, I won't be waking up at 4:30 this week w/visions of paperwork dancing in my head. Twice last week, I woke up b/c I realized I had forgotten to send an email the day before. I knew if I didn't send it then, I'd forget about it by the time I got to work. Thank goodness the week is over and now we anxiously await their arrival on Wednesday....and then celebrate their departure on Thursday! I think that calls for a Canton trip...don't you?
Enough about work stuff, let's move on to the fun stuff!
Last Friday {gosh, that seems like it was so far away}, we celebrated Jake's 4th birthday Batman style.

All four of us had a great time. The boys got to see Batman, I spent an hour playing catch up w/some friends from high school and Tony was part of the tickle train.

I know, sounds a little creepy {seeing it was even worse} but it was Batman's idea and how do you say no to him. Tony was a trooper and b/w me and you, he loved every minute of it b/c it gave him a reason to act like a kid again!

Saturday {last week-end b/c I'm a week behind}, we woke up and asked the boys what they wanted to do for Valentine's day. They both said go to the mall w/the ice skaters so that's exactly what we did. Of course, you know that didn't bother me but poor daddy, he had to spend another day shopping. At least this time it didn't involve looking at couches. We ate lunch downstairs by the ice rink, played in the play area {full of a thousand germs}, walked around the mall {admired the Gucci purse I'm dying to have} , bought the boys their Easter outfits and just enjoyed being together. I'm so thankful that God blessed me w/three special men who make every day seem like Valentine's day. They truly are the love of my life!
Hate to run but the Oscars are calling my name and it looks like I'll be watching them by myself tonight. Keller's in bed and I think my other two boys have called it a night...

Night, night, sleep tight, don't let the couch bugs bite!
