I actually think "who let the dogs out" would've been a more fitting blog title b/c that describes how our family fun night ended. As were we were saying good-bye to our friends, Lily escaped and took off down the street. We weren't overly concerned b/c she gets out and always comes back. Wendy, on the other hand, wasn't going to leave until we found Lily b/c "it hurt her heart" that she was gone. The men took matters into their own hands and decided this would be the perfect opportunity to play chase around the neighborhood. I'm so mad the camera battery was dead b/c the pictures would've been hysterical; especially, the ones of Jon and Rick. I won't give you the full story but let me just tell you, I laughed so hard at the site of grown men running around after a dog that I almost peed in my pants. They were running through neighbors yards, in and out of the alleys and down the street. The kids were chasing one another around our yard and the next door neighbors. As for the girls, we were just standing around laughing at how silly our husbands looked and wondered how long it would take for them to realize that the dog was a lot faster than they were {sadly, they tired out before that happened}. Lily was finally captured and all it took was for one of them {thank you Paul} to sit down on the sidewalk and offer her a treat. Thanks for the good laugh guys and Jon, that treadmill and silver jogging suit must be working b/c you took off like you were on fire....keep on running! It was definitely one of those "you had to be there" moments and I'm so glad I was there. Prior to Lily's escape, the kids played their little hearts out, the moms talked {and talked and talked} and the dads watched NCAA basketball and played poker{and tried to nose in on our conversation from time to time}. It was such a fun night and I'm already looking forward to next months get together and the laughs that it might bring! I'm definitely going to make sure the camera is charged up and ready to go.

LOVE it!! That made me Laugh and I was NOT leaving since we were the ones leaving when she got out!! I'm sooo glad she was captured! Landen talked about it all day yesterday!! LOL
We had a great time!! Do you have any packs of that one dip that was in the silver thing? If so, I want to get one from you so I can have that dip for mine next month. I think you said it was from Canton, so was it Homemade Gourmet? If so, what kind? We can talk about that later though. And there will not be a dog chase around here. LOL! Ranger can hardly stand up to go potty. haha He is just getting old, whether I want to believe it or not. :)
