The Kindergarten classes at Nebbie had their Easter egg hunt today and Kase invited me to come. When I pulled up, they were all outside waiting patiently {looking at bugs} on the curb.
He saw us get out of the car and came running as fast as his little legs could go. I didn't tell him I was bringing Keller so he was a little surprised when he saw him. "Hi Keller Bug, you wanna come watch me find Easter eggs?" I'm sure that's not what Keller had in mind but he was a very good spectator and an even better coach. He told Kase where to go to get the "good" ones.
"Kase, see that one {pointing} over there, its a really big huge one. Go get that one, it has blue on it. Kase, you go get me that one w/a b-ball on it. I like b-balls. Please Kase. I put it in my basket." Kase chose to ignore Keller's last comment and instead chose a pink one. After that, Keller decided he would just be better off by the fence.
Don't worry Keller, I feel certain the Easter Bunny will bring you plenty of b-ball eggs and he just might even bring you a real b-ball.
As for Kase, he got enough candy to last him a month, some cool stickers, erasers, a jelly bracelet and lots of other goodies. What a fun day!
