****WARNING: picture packed post****
Kase had his 2nd t-ball game Saturday and boy am I ever so thankful that we had a few extra hands on deck for this one.
Keller was a wonderful spectator the first game but this time he was more interested in playing in the "park" than watching a t-ball game. I guess a ballpark w/a playground and pond is pretty enticing to a 3 year old. What should I have expected? We let Maw-Maw and daddy watch the game while Papa and I took turns following {chasing} Keller around. He was making his rounds and the stops didn't last long. I think the longest was 3 minutes and that was only b/c he was strapped in a swing w/Papa pushing him "way high".
The one other extended stop was at the pond to look for fish.
This is also where he stumbled upon a new friend w/a dog. The little girl was so excited to have found a playmate but was quickly let down once she realized it was the dog Keller was interested in, not her.
I felt bad so she and I sat down in the gazebo and talked "girl talk" while her dad and brother fished. Keller eventually put the dog down but not to play with her. He saw a scooter resting against a pole and wanted to take it for a spin. The sweet little boy told Keller he could ride it for a minute. I think what he meant to say was a second b/c Keller didn't even have time to get his foot on and the boy wanted it back. I don't blame him; Keller was ready to ride off into the sunset!
As you can tell, we were busy little bees and left no stone unturned at the park. I take that back; we did miss the one thing we went for but there are many more t-ball games to be played. In the five minutes I did get to watch, Kase hit a ball to the outfield and caught a ball while playing 2nd base. Good job buddy; I promise all eyes are on you next time. Thank you Papa for exploring the park w/Keller...he had such a good time and is now ready to get a fishing pole so he can go catch some "big huge" fish. Oh what fun that will be!
