No cavities...

Kase was one happy little boy after hearing those words today at the dentist.. He had his first filling last summer so he knows firsthand what happens when you have a cavity and it's no fun in his book...or mine, for that matter. I am so grateful that my parents spent a small fortune on my teeth and very proud of what the dentist/orthodontist was able to do w/my crooked teeth but I still do not like them AT ALL. Never have, never will. It's one of those things I do b/c I have to do and it's apparent the boys feel the same way about it. The huge fish tank, treasure box, cherry tasting gloves, flashlight and silly vaccum don't excite them one bit. Keller wouldn't even get in the chair last time so I wasn't sure what to expect this time around. Surprise, surprise; he walked right in and hopped up in the chair just like he had done it 100 times before.

They both did a great job;

neither of them had any cavities and they both walked away w/a "really cool" toothbrush and got to pick something out of the treasure box.

See, it wasn't so bad after all! Now if I can only convince myself of that...
