Well...we finally made it to the Ballpark to take in our first Ranger's game of the season. The original tickets were for several weeks ago but as you might recall from a previous post, we ended up having bad weather that night so we were sitting in the bathtub instead of at the Ranger game. Oh well, it all worked out and that's what really matters. I wish you could've heard the excitement in my car when we pulled into the parking lot and saw the new Cowboy Stadium.
I'll admit, it was pretty neat but my goodness; you would've thought we had just been handed a key to the place. Daddy thought it was INCREDIBLE and can't wait to see the inside {guess he plans on taking a free tour b/c we certainly don't have tickets to an actual game}; Kase thought it was a really neat piece of architecture and Keller told us, "when I get big, I'm going to play hut-hut there." Daddy said, "I hope so." and I {the realistic one} said, "oh really; that sounds like a great idea but you'll have to wait and see what God has in store for you." Dream big Keller Bug, we'll be here rooting for you every step of the way!
The boys enjoyed the game...
I enjoyed the family time and watching the boys; but, we were all ready to go by the 7th inning. Kase and Keller were hot and getting very discouraged b/c they hadn't seen any fireworks.
"Go team, hit a home run!"
They didn't quite understand that you have to hit a home run in order to see fireworks. Tony was just discouraged b/c the "pitching was horrible, the offense was non-existent" and they had NO runs, which resulted in a 2-0 loss. I, on the other hand, could've cared less about any of it b/c I was busy playing w/my camera...and taking pictures of Ian Kinsler.
