Kase and I had a date last night to see the Wizard of Oz at the Music Hall in Fair Park.
It's the 2nd musical for Kase and he loved every minute of it. I tried to talk him into leaving after intermission b/c it was late, I was tired and I wanted him to get a lot of rest for our upcoming trip. He informed me that "you aren't supposed to leave until the end" so we sat tightly in our seats until 10:30. I don't think he blinked an eye the entire 2 1/2 hours. It was a very good production and we had a great time together. I enjoyed being able to give him my undivided attention and I know he enjoyed having it as well. As he was looking through the playbill, his eyes lit up when he saw the advertisement for Chitty Chitty Bang Bang so it looks like we'll be adding that to our calendar for July. Thank you Kase for such a fun night. I always enjoy our special time together and please promise me that you'll never be too cool for "date nights" w/mommy. I love you sweet boy of mine!
{The green turtle in the picture is one of the many crafts he made this week at VBS. It has a card inside that says "God loves us." Anytime you're feeling scared, you're supposed to hug it tight so you know that "God is with you". He asked if he could bring it w/him b/c "the wicked witch might be scary". As it turns out, she was pretty creepy so it stayed close by his side all night. So cute my little lovebug!}
