Lily's surgery is over and she is back at home drugged up on painkillers resting peacefully.
As for the rest of the bunch, some have been busy mowing...
{He got hot and decided he better switch to the riding lawnmower}
some are slipping and sliding in the backyard {Kase showed Keller how to do it but he prefers to do it his "own way" by sliding on his bottom or knees.}
and one child is finding new pets to raise.
Kase has never really been into bugs so this is a new adventure for us. This is definitely not my favorite part of raising boys. The dirt, the filth and the germs that go along w/digging in the dirt for critters is really tough for germaphobics and I happen to be a pretty big one. Thank goodness both boys are used to my madness so they know to wash hands and sanitize frequently. I promise I'm trying to get better in this area b/c I know it only gets worse as they get older. For now, I think I'll let the boys do the bug hunting while I try to figure out how to work the new zoom lens on my camera.
I think I'm going to like it but what's not to like when you're taking pictures of such a sweet face? Now if I can just figure out how to make the background fuzzy, I'll feel like a real pro. Thank you Kase for being my model and putting up with mommy taking "too many pictures". I promise one day you'll understand why I love taking pictures of my two precious children!
