We spent Saturday afternoon having fun in the sun as Kase helped his former classmate {and special friend} Berkley celebrate her 6th birthday.
Once again, I debated on whether or not to take Keller but then decided I better check the place out first before I take on another child to watch. Hearing about all the recent child drownings has made me even more paranoid cautious about the boys being around water. Kase is very comfortable and knows there are boundaries so I don't worry too much about him. Keller, on the other hand, doesn't quite get it. He thinks you can just climb into the pool anywhere, even if it says 4 feet 6 inches. Fortunately for Keller, it was a very kid friendly place so I called Tony and he brought him up to play. The party was held at their neighborhood pool and it wasn't just your ordinary swimming pool. I felt like we were at a resort. It was a huge enclosed area w/a lap pool, kiddie pool, sprinkler park, and a large activity pool with water slide. Kase spent most of his time in the activity pool playing with his friends
and practicing his jumping "diving"skills.
Keller went back and forth b/w there, the kiddie pool and the sprinkler park.
Spending the afternoon with great friends always makes for a fun and exciting day. Watching 2 soaking wet little boys run around and play is just the icing on the cake.
