Last Friday, Kase and I snuck in one last minute date before our summer ends. I debated on whether or not to take Keller but Kase quickly reminded me that Keller doesn't really like the movies. He went on to tell me that the last time we went to the movies, Keller wouldn't sit still and that I said I would "not be taking him back to the movies for awhile". That did happen and I did say that but why does my 6 year old have to remind me of that when I'm feeling guilty about leaving Keller behind? We did end up dropping Keller off at Mrs. Terrie's but he walked right in and went straight to the playroom. No "bye mom" or anything so that made me feel better. Kase and I spent the day at Northpark shopping, having lunch and taking in a movie, G-FORCE.
The shopping was great, lunch was yummy and the movie...well, it was cute and Kase enjoyed it.
I, on the other hand, just enjoyed spending the day w/my precious little boy who is growing up way too fast for me!
{Stop staring at my glowing forehead...it's new skin coming in under the layer that is slowly peeling away from our time at the beach. I put sunscreen on the boys but somehow overlooked putting it on myself. And yes mom, I do know there is such a thing as skin cancer!}
