Feel the Rhythm

Both Tony and I enjoy music and at one time, could be found every Friday and Saturday night dancing our hearts out at some nightspot in town. Before we got married, he would be out with his friends and I'd be out w/mine and we'd "conveniently" bump into one another out on the dance floor. I'm certain they followed us but he'll never admit that. Even after getting married, we would still occasionally go out dancing w/our friends b/c it was something both of us enjoyed doing. We still do but now that we're a little older, we've had to settle for watching it on TV and doing our silly dance moves with the boys. Tony thinks he "still has it" and despite my attempts to tell him he lost it around 35, he still busts out every now and then with his old school dance moves. It really is quite entertaining. The boys and I get a good laugh out of it! With all that being said, I truly think the boys come by their love of music and dancing naturally. However, Keller is a little different from the rest of us. Big surprise, I know. We listen to music and sing along to our favorite songs. Kase will sing out loud {very loud} and dance for hours but only when he thinks no one is watching. Yes, we have him fooled into thinking that we can't see through the crack in the door. Keller does all of that but takes it a couple steps farther. He sings very loud, dances to the beat but he can really "feel" the rythm of the music.

In fact, I think he sometimes gets lost in the music. He hears music from a mile away and will drop whatever it is he was doing and start dancing the minute he hears it. If he knows the song, he'll very loudly sing along. Otherwise, he'll pretend he does. We love to watch him and he could spend hours entertaining us but I'm starting to worry that he might be the boy in the locker room who listens to his music and bangs his head on his locker in preparation for an upcoming football game.

He's that "into" his music and it doesn't matter what song it is. Whether it be the Wiggles, Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus, Worship Jamz, Kids Bop, or his favorite CD from VBS, he is singing and dancing from beginning to end. He puts it all out there, leaving nothing on the table! The pictures don't do him justice but the fact that he can't dance in a shirt b/c he gets hot says something about our little performer. One day I'll figure out how to upload a video so you can see him in action and maybe I'll even sneak one in of daddy trying to keep up with him!
