Last Saturday, the boys had a fun filled day of back to back birthday parties. The first party was for their friend Caden who was turning 5. It was at an indoor bounce house and was a big hit for the whole family. Several of my close friends from work were there so we chatted while the kids bounced.
Since it was a Saturday afternoon, the men searched and found a tiny little room w/a couch so they could all crowd in and watch college football. I wish I had a picture to share b/c it was one funny site. They did come out long enough to do cake and ice cream...just like a man not to miss out on food! After 2 hours of jumping fun, we took an hour break and then headed over to help Jamyson celebrate his 4th birthday. The boys had been looking forward to his party for weeks b/c I made the mistake of telling them they were going to make superhero capes. Jamyson's mother made capes for all of the kids to decorate w/Superman or Batman patches. {Thanks Christy for setting the bar high. You're such the overachiever.} After much thought, Kase and Keller decided on Batman and a green mask.
The weather was beautiful so the majority of the time was spent outside. Tony and I enjoyed visiting w/special friends while the kids ran themselves silly acting like superheros. They stopped long enough to eat their mini cake cupcakes but were back in action w/in minutes.
Happy Birthday Superhero Jamyson, we're so glad to have you as our friend. Be careful on your new 4-wheeler!
