Blast{ball}

Keller had his first blastball game on Monday and it was a big hit for the whole family.

Papa, Grammar, Aunt Bubba (Morgan) and Presley came out to cheer on the little all-star. The game is designed like t-ball but indoors, has only one base, and can be played w/out a glove. Thank goodness since Keller can't wear a glove {thumb injury} and would've had to start the season on the injured reserve list. That's not a fun place to be especially when you've been waiting 6 months to play "b-ball". He watched big brother play last Spring and has been anxiously awaiting his turn since then. His team was the "home" team so they had to play in the "outfield" first. That didn't go over too well w/Keller so he pouted for a few minutes but then got up and caught a ball.

He proudly held it up and yelled "BLAST". It was so cute; I almost cried. Each player on the other team had a chance to bat and then the two teams switched sides. Keller was the lead off hitter for his team so he walked up to the tee, measured the distance w/his bat, scuffed his shoe, and then knocked one into the outfield.

He threw his bat down and ran as fast as his little legs could carry him. The base honks when you step on it so he jumped as hard as he could making sure we all heard it. Of course, we cheered like he had just scored the winning run in the world series. It was definitely a homerun in our eyes; but then again, he's a big hit w/us everyday. We love you little "Blastball" superstar and can't wait to watch you hit more homeruns...

and give "knuckles" after the game!
