painting pumpkins

So much for carving our pumpkins. The boys decided to change things up a little bit this year. They wanted to paint their pumpkins instead. To tell you the truth, I don't think they could wait any longer to give their special pumpkin a face. We always carve pumpkins but we wait until closer to Halloween so they don't get all mushy and gross. Their patience wasn't going to hold them over much longer so they got out some paints and went to town. Kase painted some pictures

and Keller...well, he just went a little overboard w/the black paint. Nonetheless, he was pleased and that's all that matters.

Does the look on Kase's face tell you he wasn't so sure about Keller's black pumpkin?
