Saturday afternoon, we headed over to the Nelson's to help Noah celebrate his 3rd birthday.
It was a firetruck theme complete w/a firetruck bounce house and an old firetruck came to give kids a ride around the block. Of course, neither of the boys were the least bit interested in taking a ride but they did sit still long enough to hear the fire safety presentation. Well, Kase did.
Keller hid inside for most of it
and then spent the rest of the time walking around looking like this.
I really wanted to take a ride but instead watched the boys play on the swing set
As always, the boys had a great time and I enjoyed visiting w/friends we don't get to see often enough. You might remember the last time we were at the Nelson's also happened to be the day I ended up at the ER w/Keller b/c he smashed his thumb in the door while trying to sneak off to go poop. As we drove off from the Nelson's, he said to me, "Mommy, we can go to the Gap but I don't need to go poop this time." I laughed hysterically as he continued saying it over and over again until I assured him we were not going to the Gap. Bless his heart, he still loves the Gap just not their bathrooms.
Keller Bug, you have the most wonderful sense of humor; I'm so thankful for the smiles you bring to my face daily!
