Keller's been waiting for this moment a long time and it has finally arrived; T-ball season #1 is officially underway for our little slugger. Our little man was none to happy when he started getting ready and realized we didn't have his uniform. Mommy got blamed for not going to buy it at the store so I spent 5 minutes trying to explain that they have to be made and that you can't just buy them at a store. For someone who wants all the pieces in place, that still didn't settle too well. Fortunately, Kase had an old t-ball shirt and hat and agreed to let little brother borrow it for the night. What a sweet big brother to swoop in and save the day!
The stomach bug made a quick visit at our house so Kase and I had to miss his first practice and game. As one can imagine, I was an emotional wreck b/c I do not miss things like that. To make matters worse, I couldn't even send the camera w/Tony for pictures. He's the assistant coach and I knew he wouldn't have time to take pictures and keep 12 four year olds from running away. So, I chased Keller out the door {still eating his grilled cheese} and snapped pictures like a crazy woman.
After about 5 pictures, Tony said, "Honey, don't you think you've taken enough?". Are you serious? Did he really just ask me that? I'm having to miss my son's first t-ball game and he's rushing me to take pictures. After giving him the "look", he quickly corrected himself and said, "you can take more; we still have a few minutes before we have to leave". So, I snapped a few more, gave him a high 5 and kissed my little all-star before he drove off to play ball.
Good luck #19!
