Spring Musical

Keller's preschool recently completed a unit titled "Celebration of the Child" and to showcase their hard work, the school held an open house, spring musical and breakfast for the parents. Keller couldn't wait for mommy and daddy to spend the morning at his school.

Even though we see it everyday, he took us to see where he takes swimming lessons, showed us the "kitchen" and Presley's classroom, and then proudly led us to see all of his artwork.

After his guided tour, we left him smiling in his classroom and headed to the gym for the music program. He entered w/a big grin and full of excitement ready to sing his songs...or so we thought!

Not sure what happened but our very outgoing child suddenly had a case of stage fright and cried off and on throughout the entire program. Another little girl came out crying and had to come down off the stage so I'm not sure if that maybe had something to do with it...or maybe it was the little flower that upset him.

Whatever it was sure took us by surprise b/c he isn't afraid of crowds and shows off for anyone willing to watch. Not the case that day! Once the show was over, he was back to his silly self and ready to eat some doughnuts...

and play w/his little buddy!

Keller Bug, Keller Bug...we are so proud of you for being such a good boy and working so hard at school this past year. Mommy was so hesitant to put you in a new place but it's turned out to be the best thing for you. Never once do you complain about having to go and you always come home happy and full of stories to share w/us. You absolutely adore your teacher and so do we.

Now, if we can just convince her to move to the next class w/you!
