cooling off

In a desperate attempt to stay cool, get some Vitamin D and a little bit of a tan, we've been spending most afternoons out by the pool. It's certainly nothing fancy but it holds water and it works for two little ones who pretend love to swim...

and one who loves to pour water down his pants when he thinks mommy isn't watching.

Can someone please tell me where my youngest child came from? I promise I've done nothing different w/him but he is the polar opposite of Kase. Although Kase thought it was funny watching Keller, it's certainly not something he would ever think to do.

He is such the rule follower and knows pulling your pants down and exposing your privates isn't acceptable. Hello...we call them "privates" for that very reason. Needless to say, after that episode, I had to refer back to my "Don't Make me Count to Three" parenting book. I was definitely at a loss of how to effectively discipline and teach obedience during a moment like that. Yes, I laughed b/c it was funny and such a boy thing but my goodness, we can't be doing that out in public...where do I draw the line?
