The Real Deal

Keller's t-ball uniform finally arrived and he couldn't wait one second longer to put it on and have his picture taken.

I guess in order for it to be official, he needed the jersey and matching baseball cap.

Trying to take the team picture was a bit of a challenge but who cares...they're cute and having a good time and that's all that matters!

While the others were doing individual pictures, Keller took advantage of that time to warm up w/daddy. Getting his arm loose,

taking a few grounders

catching pop flies w/his hand

and perfecting his swing.

Eyes are on the ball and his tongue is out. This little guy is locked in and focused on hitting a homerun!

The Spitfires were the home team this night so they started in the field. Keller is a ball hog so Tony had to tell him at least 7 times to let someone else get the ball. Staying in position must be a later developing skill b/c there is no 1st, 2nd or 3rd baseman once the ball is hit. They all take off running after the ball and end up in a dogpile on top of the one who caught the ball. The dads on the field are then trying to correct coach and the moms are sitting in the bleachers laughing.

Batter up!

Time to pack up and go home.

You know you've had a good game when you end up w/dirt in your hair and a huge smile on your face!
