magic time machine

After being stuck inside one too many days last week, Tony and I decided in the middle of the thunderstorm Friday to take the boys to the Magic Time Machine for dinner.

We were suffering from cabin fever and needed to get out. Tony and the boys had never been and I hadn't been since I was 16 when I went w/the Stingerette drill team. Yeah girls, I know you remember that little trip to San Antonio. If you don't, I have a pretty little picture of us I can put up as proof. Winged hair, poofy bangs, tons of makeup and dressed in the most horrific dresses I've ever seen. But oh how we rocked the show...or so we thought!
Due to the rain, there wasn't a wait so we walked right in and got seated in our special little section.

We sat in a hut that was meant to resemble a scene from the movie Lilo & Stitch. Our waitress was dressed as Lilo and she had a stuffed animal "Stitch" attached to her skirt. The boys thought it was so cool to have a character for a waitress. Kase ordered the magic potion drink but got a little worried when it arrived at the table with bubbles and smoke. Don't think Keller liked it much either.

While we were waiting on our food, we took a little tour and bumped into Mr. Incredible, Waldo, Cinderella, Tinkerbell, Pirate Jack, and a few others. Keller enjoyed seeing the characters but was highly disappointed that Batman and Superman weren't there. At least we found a picture of one of them.

Kase enjoyed the themed eating areas, the autographed menus

and is already talking about going back to eat in the school bus.

It was a fun little outing and I have a feeling we'll be back before the summer ends. The boys think Presley needs to see all the princesses...good excuse huh?

Such a fun spontaneous Friday night. And I think you need to post that Stingerette picture, haha!
