Captain for the Day

Flag football season is drawing to an end and I am truly sad about that...can you sense my sarcasm?

Keller played up this year and in doing so, we discovered that he's just not quite ready to play w/7 year olds. His attention span is still a little short lived and w/such a captive audience, he really wants to put on a show. Unfortunately, his show is on the sidelines, in the bleachers, under the bleachers and anywhere else but the football field. He hasn't grasped the concept that the football field is also a place to show off your athletic talents, not clown skills! What can I say? The child loves to entertain and make people laugh....especially these 2.

As you can tell, Kase was more into his book than watching his brother clown around.

A couple of weeks ago, he was the captain so he was able to go out for the coin toss.

He was serious long enough to call the toss and won it for his team.

They elected to receive and off we went. The Eagles successfully completed 2 passes for the 2 point conversions and in doing that accomplished a season goal...way to go Eagles.

In the end, they came up a little short but we were still so very proud of our team, especially #19!

Thanks for cheering loud big brother!
