Growing up in a small town, my sister and I always looked forward to the Christmas parade. We watched w/excitement and anticipation as children, marched in it as Stingerettes {our skirts were much fuller and our uniforms weren't near as sparkly},
and now we're sharing the special tradition w/our children.
The boys and I headed out w/our scarves and jackets, made a quick stop at the doughnut store and then met Presley and Aunt Bubba on the square.
We staked out the perfect spot and then waited anxiously for the parade to start.
Keller saw some kids w/reindeer antlers so he decided he better put his "antlers up" too...my little Texas Ranger fan.
It was freezing cold but the kids were not going to leave their spot until they had seen all 100 floats...and the jolly man in the red suit.
Although our town has grown tremendously, I'm so thankful the traditions that make it so unique and special are still around for our children to experience!
