The snow is absolutely beautiful...it makes for wonderful pictures...the boys love it...but enough is enough.
I am ready for the roads to clear so we can get to where we need to go. Fortunately, for our sanity sake, we were able to get out of the house yesterday. Daddy slid into work, Keller went to play w/his friends at daycare and Kase and I had a birthday date to Northpark.
Our firstborn son turns 8 tomorrow so we celebrated a day early w/a trip to the Lego store and a yummy lunch that included pizza and his favorite, garlic knots. After lunch and a few Ninjago {legos} battles, we shopped around, had a sweet snack from the cookie place, played in the ice and then called it a day.
School is closed for the 4th day in a row and there's 6 inches of snow on the ground so it looks like we'll be releasing some energy outside and climbing walls inside today!
Above freezing temperatures-please return soon. The birthday boy is really worried that his friends will need a snowmobile to get to his party tomorrow and we all know those are hard to come by in Texas.
