A couple Friday's ago, a group of us (21 to be exact) met out at the Ballpark in Arlington to watch the Texas Rangers.
There were 11 kids so you can imagine the chaos surrounding us. Lots of cheering, screaming, hollering and trips to the restroom but it was so incredibly fun that we plan to do it again in June. The kids enjoyed sharing ice cream, lemon chills, cotton candy, popcorn and anything else that a vendor walked by selling. I can't even begin to imagine how much sugar was consumed that night. We stayed late for the firework show so the sugar provided the extra energy needed to make it through the long night. Keller absolutely loves being at the ballpark and rarely takes his eyes off the field.
I love to watch his facial expressions and see the sparkle in his eye throughout the game. He is one proud fan; watches every game until bedtime and wakes up the next morning asking Tony who won the game. Most nights, Tony records the game so Keller can watch it before he leaves for school in the morning. Win or lose, he is a loyal Texas Ranger fan.
Kase enjoys being there but is more interested in visiting w/friends than he is the game. He might be my shy child but around his friends, he is quite a talker...and a little flirt.
An evening w/friends, beautiful weather and a Rangers win made for a perfect Friday night. Thank you to our wonderful friends for joining us...we are truly blessed by your friendship and look forward to our next outing to the Ballpark.
