T-ball season is over and what an AWESOME season it's been for the Wreckin' Crew. The last game was 2 weeks ago but we were out of town so Keller had to miss it. As you can imagine, he was not too happy about missing the game. However, once we arrived in San Diego, he discovered that missing the game was completely worth it. Unfortunately, the Wreckin' Crew suffered their first loss of the season but still finished in 1st place. We'll proudly take it.
6U city champs...way to go boys!
Even w/the extreme heat, we are still a little sad to see it come to an end. It's been so much fun cheering the boys on, watching friendships develop and to see the improvement each week. Thanks to a great coach and the dad's acting as assistants, the boys learned a lot and turned into a very good team. To celebrate the boys, the players and parents got together last Sunday for an end of season cook-out/party.
The coach recognized each player and presented them w/a trophy...a very cute trophy that has a special spot in Keller's room.
Once the party at the park was over, we all walked over and let the boys cool off at the sprinkler park.
They had a blast and didn't want the night to end. Strangers in March, best buddies in June...such a special experience for all of us.
Congratulations "Boomstick" on an INCREDIBLE season! We are so proud of you. Your excitement and passion for the game have been contagious and we can't wait to do it all over again in the fall.
We love you #19.
