In celebration of July 4th, our town has a parade on the old downtown square. It is a small {very small} parade but you would never know b/c the kids think it's the real deal.
The boys look forward to going every year and it always ends up being one of the highlights of their weekend.
In addition to the parade, the new restaurant on the square provided snowcones and the bakery had a little area set up for the kids to make a cake push pop.
Sugar, sugar everywhere!
Despite the suffocating heat and sweat rolling down our backs, it was a great start to a fun filled 4th of July weekend.
