Yeehaw!

Our sweet cousin, Arianna, was in town from Las Vegas this past week and Morgan decided it was the perfect opportunity to take the kids to the Mesquite Rodeo...yeehaw!

Other than complaining about the smell and Keller feeling sorry for the little calves, the kids thought it was a pretty neat place and had a great time watching the cowboys and cowgirls.

It brought back a few childhood memories as I spent many a nights in that very same arena.

No, I wasn't there trying to pick up a young cowboy; although, I'm sure we had a crush on all the boys wearing tight jeans and Cowboy hats. Believe it or not, I used to ride horses and even wanted to be a barrel racer back in the day so I was there watching and trying to learn. Can't you just picture that...me, my Rocky Mountain jeans and red ropers...just another one of my many wild childhood dreams!
Kase enjoyed the bull riding and Keller enjoyed the clown {and cotton candy}...go figure, Mr. Clown himself.

It was a fun Friday night and the boys {and Presley} can now say they've been to a rodeo.
