In the past month...

We completed our 4th week of school...and would you believe? Keller only had to change his color twice. The first time was for talking during storytime and the 2nd time he and another little boy were making noises. Noises, as in sounds that should only be heard in a restroom. Keller is making sure I don't miss a thing when it comes to being a boymom. Needless to say, we had a little discussion about manners, classroom behavior and he didn't get to watch the Ranger game on TV two nights in a row. Apparently, that was the perfect consequence b/c our little kindergartner has been on green for the past 2 1/2 weeks and even earned a smiley face 3 times. I think he is finally getting the hang of things and loves being at school....just like his big brother!

We had open house and got to see some precious work and hear about all the wonderful things going on this school year.

I know I say it all the time but we are so blessed to be a part of such an amazing community w/top notch schools. The boys have wonderful teachers and that makes for one very happy mommy. We absolutely love our school!

We attended our first football game of the season w/our neighborhood friends.

Several of us met in the parking lot about an hour and a half before kick-off and had a little tailgate party.

The adults ate and talked while the kids played football,

colored their hair w/orange hairspray,

and chased each other around the parking lot until they were soaking wet from sweat. Unfortunately, the Jackets lost the game but we sure had fun and can't wait to go back Friday night for Homecoming!

We celebrated four of our special friends birthdays and have two more coming up this weekend. Happy Birthday Lexi, Trinity, Thomas and Ashton. I don't recall having such a busy social calendar when I was 5 and 8 but it's wonderful and we love every single minute of it.

Can't you tell? Look at that smile!

Whew! I think I'm finally caught up...until tomorrow.
