Picture-less Game 2...

Game 2 was last Saturday and the Texans came away w/their 2nd win of the season. According to Keller, they were hitting "bombs". With a final score of 26-18, I'd have to agree w/him. I was so involved in the game busy chatting w/the moms that I didn't realize until I got home that I only took 5 pictures the entire game. Yes, only 5...can you believe it? What's even more surprising is that 3 of them were taken before the game even started.

You will notice in the first picture that my worst fear is now a reality. Keller has become "Killer" and it's all my fault. We knew when we chose his name, there was a good possibility that would happen; however, neither of us realized it would happen so soon....at the young age of 5. Of course, being his mom, I don't love it but it fits him well on the baseball field so we'll go w/it! Fortunately, they still call him "Boomstick" so I don't cringe every time he comes up to bat. His bat backpack has the #1 on it, not b/c he's #1 in our eyes, but b/c the embroidery machine broke midway through. So, right now, he's Killer and he's #1.

We love you sweet boy and are so proud of you for playing your little heart out!
