Play ball...

Fall ball started last night and I'm pretty sure you could sense our excitement from a mile away. Well, some of us...one little guy wasn't too happy about sitting outside in the sun for an hour and a half but he survived. Nothing a pair of sunglasses, a good book, a comfy chair and a sprite won't fix. He was a trooper!

Aside from Kase, the rest of us have been anxiously awaiting this season as Keller is part of a new team w/great kiddos, amazing coaches and wonderful parents.

The boys have been practicing twice a week for the last 6 weeks and you can defintely see it paying off. The Texans were baseball ready and playing for the win. Keller played right field, left field and the majority of the night at 3rd base.

Daddy would like him to play infield but Keller informed us that he liked the outfield b/c "that's where Josh Hamilton plays". Can you tell he spends way too much time watching the Ranger games?

He did great at the plate but most importantly, had a blast playing w/his new Texan friends! The boys played well together and won in dominating fashion, 23-10. Game 2 is Saturday and we're ready for win #2!

Way to go Texans!
