Somehow I skipped right over the fun Halloween parties leading up to Halloween. Good thing I don't have a full social calendar b/c the boys sure do. A party here, a party there so we had to divide our time b/w the two. Kase went to a Halloween Party at his classmates house who also happens to be the daughter of a friend from high school. This was the first time I've actually dropped Kase off at a party so it was comforting to know he was in such good hands.
She had tons of food, lots of sweets, games and a scavenger hunt set up for the kids. Kase had a blast and was a little upset that I came back to get him before the party was over. Shame on me for ruining his night. Keller and I spent the evening celebrating the twins 10th birthday. Their mom is a dear friend of mine so I was at the hospital the day they were born and haven't missed a birthday yet. I've enjoyed watching Kade and Kylie grow up and look forward to many more birthday celebrations with them. Game 7 of the World Series was on that night so I probably don't need to tell you where Keller spent most of his night...right in front of the TV.
Nervous habit of picking his lip and a frown on his face are sure signs that things weren't going well for the Rangers. Of course, we all know now that it didn't end well either. We still love our Texas Rangers and are already counting down the days to spring training. Well, I'm not but Keller is. It's going to be a loooooong winter at our house w/no baseball on TV. Thank goodness for DVR so Keller will have something to watch when I need him to be still for longer than 3 minutes.
Saturday was Scare on the Square and the t-ball tournament was over for the day so I assumed the entire family would go, just as we always have in the past. Nope, not this year. Keller decided he and Daddy needed to skip it so they could stay home and practice. Goodness gracious, the boy had just played two games but that wasn't enough. We tried to talk him out of it but that didn't work so it was just Kase and I.
While Kase was trick-or-treating, Keller was home hitting balls and fielding grounders. Seriously?!?! The child can't get enough!
